Video Conference

One of the main purposes of Project GOA is to use this website as a venue to test out ideas that, once more thoroughly formed, can be incorporated into a global video conference between all of our participating institutions.

The first of these video conferences is to be held in the first half of 2009, and will have two bases: one in the University of Oxford in the UK and the other in the University of Adelaide in Australia.  If you would like to participate in this event, you do not necessarily have to be at either of these two universities.

Further information about the date and time will be posted on the Project GOA website when it becomes available.

Registering Interest

If you would like to participate in the conference by giving a paper, you should first engage others with your ideas in The Sandbox.  You are encouraged to post ideas in all stages of development, from “that thought you just had” to “here’s my doctoral thesis”.  The Project GOA board and other Members of the Project respond to your thoughts there and the best ideas (determined through ratings in the Sandbox and by review of the Board) will be invited to present at the conference.
